What a lovely autumnal walk. Beautiful changing of the leaves at this place with some of the tallest trees I’ve ever seen. A few waypoints visited on this walk. Even the opportunity for bungee jumping. The cafe was beautiful, lovely cake selection. The home made soup was delicious and filled us with something warm after walking 7km on the trails. Only downside is, I got something from the gift shop and had to wait in a long line of people ordering food to pay for my item.

My first visit was 14 years ago then 10years and then last week. We were here for the Bungee Jump. The place has evolved in the last few years. It’s nice. Bungee Jump is cool. Highly recommend

When driving north of Perth this is my preferred stop. It is off the main road which can be a relief. There is plenty of parking, but you must pay for it or have a Scottish National Trust badge. The view from the window seats is of the bird feeders and a myriad of birds, because of the incline the cafe is more like a tree house facing into the tree tops. There are toilets nearby. Everything is set out for someone with a wheelchair and made level but there are a few gentle inclines. The cafe offer freshly made soup, sandwiches and cakes. We stopped twice 2 soups, 2 sandwiches, 2 coffees £23. On another occasion 2 soups, 2 coffees, one cheese cake came to £22. If your time allow do take a stroll to the viewing point as it is very impressive and easily accessible. Other places can be stopped at but this much smaller, quieter, gentle and pleasant. The cafe closes promptly. In the winter hot food stops at 3pm sharp but you can still get coffee and cakes. Check the opening hours as they vary according to the season.

My husband and I did the High land Swing, it was amazing. The guys really looked after us they were diligent with all the safety equipment, funny with all their interactions and reassuring when we were nervous. We'd definitely recommend this place!

Pleasent National Trust cafe. Plenty seating and parking spaces. Short walk to soldiers leap and walks along the Tay river

Great place, really scenic and the cafe was incredible. No photo of the cake because it was so good, I ate it before I thought of taking a photo... Would 100% come back here.

We made a small stop over here before continuing to Inverness. The café isn‘t that cosy on the inside, a little bit more like a cafeteria, but the tables outside are very nice, because they look directly into the woods. The coffee was good, but the cake was so-so. The opera cake I had tasted stale and a little bit like fridge, as if it had been stored in one over night and not sealed properly. The apple pie was tatsty, but very cold, as if recently defrosted. The strawberry cheesecake was good. Also the personnel was very friendly and helpful.

Such a charming little café—covered in greenery and full of calm, feel-good vibes. The space feels like a mini escape, and the food is just as refreshing—so fresh, flavourful, and beautifully served. Every bite (and every corner) feels like a treat. We will be back!
